Author Biography
At age 42 Judy had a head-on car collision which resulted in a severe brain injury that left her in a coma for three months and a prediction that she would remain a "vegetable" for the rest of her life. When she regained consciousness, she was paralyzed on her right side; couldn't speak, read, write or think and had a complete memory loss of her previous life. Her family and friends refused to accept this gloomy state and started their therapy. One year after her accident, Judy returned to her previous job and went on to acquire a Masters Degree in Nursing and Business Administration. She became a hospital Vice President of Patient Care Services and was honored in Who's Who in American Nursing, Nursing Administration and American Women. She has written a book of Brain Injury and NPH Recovery to help as many people as possible.
