He was awarded the Mycological Foray Service Award in 1987 and was the recipient of the 1992 North American Mycological Association Award for Contributions to Amateur Mycology. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cb\u003eWilliam C. Roody\u003c\/b\u003e is a mycologist and wildlife diversity biologist.
