My purpose for this book is to help other black men overcome their misery and sorrow. Depression in black men isn't discussed often enough. You may have purchased Black Man Healed because you're experiencing a rough patch at this point in your life, But God's has a plan for each of us. It requires us to be coachable like a talented but humble athlete. You have MVP talent inside of you; however, lean on GOD to bring your gift out. Matthew 16:24 says "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow" My belief is that God doesn't punish us when choose not to follow him. Because he knows the lesser road will be punishment enough.
