Author Biography

Dr. L. Veerakumari, Reader in Zoology, Pachaiyappa's College, Chennai, has twentyfive years of teaching experience in the fields of biochemistry and physiology. Her field of research is Veterinary Parasitology and Herbal Medicine. She handles many research schemes funded by UGC and DST. She has many research publications to her credit and has presented a number of papers at various national and international conferences. She is a life member of the Indian Association for Advancement of Veterinary Parasitology (IAAVP). She has authored a book Biochemistry.
