Author Biography

Robert Myron Ostman was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he began in public school, then transferred to a Lutheran parochial school and graduated from Central High School in June, 1941, while working at the GE company. Robert entered the Army in 1942 and served until the end of combat in 1945. Home again, he returned to GE for an additional 8 years. He then attended Indiana Technical College and accepted a position with the Department of the Navy before returning to GE. Robert married LaRue F Gump and they settled down to enjoy their four children. He accepted a position as Technical Writer and Quality Control Leader at Capehart-Farnsworth Electronics but found relief from the structured limits of technical writing by penning fiction as a hobby, feeling the calling to study religion, philosophy and the early writers. This lead to the amazing account of "Beloved Betrayer."
