As a sole survivor of his family, and for the first time after his liberation, Bornstein enters his hometown of Szczekociny to find no sign of Jewish life, and to discover desecration of Jewish sites. Raised in Szczekociny, in 2007 she joined the project started by Bornstein family to commemorate Jews from her hometown. Involved in projects aiming at preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland, a co-organizer of the Festivals of Jewish Culture in Szczekociny, shares Izyk Mendel Bornstein's belief that Everybody is born to change the world.
