Author Biography

Though born in Providence Rhode Island, Sandra has lived most of her life in the suburbs of Long Island New York. A single mother of two grown boys, she recently left her long time position working in a public library in the cozy town of Centereach New York to pursue a new life 3000 miles away in Sacramento California along with a new career working in a library within a law school. It is here that she hopes to continue her dream and desire to write and share her life and thoughts with readers like herself. With not much experience in writing, she authored her first book "True Desires" in 2003. What began as a personal journal, True Desires turned into a memoir of a journey Sandra believed would perhaps help others as much as it helped herself in reliving the memories. Now with the touch of writing in her blood and now being considered a published author, she has taken her willingness to share her personal life once again in "Average Jane Seeking an Average Joe". This book recounts Sandra's experiences as a middle-aged single woman in the world of dating. Sharing her thoughts and opinions with some humor, she ends this phase of her life when her dating and search for the Average Joe comes to an end.
