Author Biography
Phil Bookman is CEO of the Crown Jewels Group, his business strategy consulting company. A Silicon Valley veteran with a long record of starting, growing and managing profitable software companies, he developed a unique style of dealing with competition and strategy that is direct, clear and practical. The attacking the crown jewels model and the Strategic Competitive Defense Planning Process grew out of this, blended with insights gained from observing, analyzing and participating in the high-tech industry for three decades. Phil is a member of the Association for Strategic Planning, the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals, and the Chief Operating Officer Business Forum. A graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Adelphi University and Santa Clara University, he lives with his wife, Lois, in Los Gatos, California.
