Author Biography
Rabbi Daniel Schonbuch, MA, is a Marriage and Family Therapist and a Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Professional in New York State. Using his experience as former national education director of the National Council for Synagogue Youth, and his extensive work with teens at risk, Rabbi Schonbuch has turned his focus to "in-reach" and helping teens in the religious community struggling with issues of religion and identity. He is currently executive director of Shalom Task Force and maintains a private practice in family counseling in New York City. Rabbi Schonbuch is a sought-after professional in the New York area. His writings appear weekly in the Jewish Press and in numerous newspapers and magazines. He lives in New York City with his wife and children.
