Author Biography
Julie Schoen is an author, yoga instructor, former model, school teacher, and co-founder of the company Little Pearl Publishing, dedicated to bringing the world "little pearls" of wisdom. Over the past six years, Julie Schoen has dedicated her life to pursuing knowledge and sharing it through her writing and teaching. In 2005, she was in a hit-and-run car accident, leaving her with serious injuries to her head and spine. After consulting numerous physical therapists and chiropractors, Schoen turned to yoga and meditation to heal her body and spirit. During the long healing process from this accident, she developed a new gratefulness for life's opportunities and takes advantage of each one that she is given. As an experienced school teacher and yoga instructor, Schoen has traveled the world studying with and absorbing the wisdom of each person she meets. A devoted wife and mom to a little boy, she is thankful for the opportunity to make a living writing, teaching, and traveling, while still being present for every moment of her life.
