As a minister, for 50+ years, I ministered to church members and families who were suffering from Alzheimer's. Now I am ministering at home personally, as I care for my wife.
Beth, my wife for 59 years, is suffering from Alzheimer's. She had the highest GPA in her college graduating class and won a full scholarship to seminary, where we met in a Greek class in 1965.
Alzheimer's is a life changing illness.
NowI am personally applying some of the lessons I taught church families who were dealing with Alzheimer's.
