He currently lives with his wife Johanne in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, Quebec, Canada. His latest book A Soldier's Journey (1940-1945) honours the young French Canadians who, as proud members of Les Fusiliers Mont-Royal, took part in the ill-fated raid on Dieppe, France, on 19 August 1942.
