Author Biography
Stan Bryant was born in 1960 into a large family of seven in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As a child, he spent time rock climbing, camping and fishing with his father and brothers. Re-locating to Southern California and Arizona, he worked full-time beginning at age 14. At 17 he joined the Navy for a four-year stint, serving on destroyers and air craft carriers in the Middle East. To occupy his free time dabbled in writing poems and songs. After the service, Stan started working in housing construction and also ran his own cabinet making business for 12 years. A Parkinson's Disease diagnosis came at age 49, but he continued to work until age 52. Still young, he put down his hammer and saw and picked up a pen and pad to record his daily struggles with PD, sharing them with PD groups. His choice was to give up on life or change it. This book is the result of that change.
