Author Biography
Over many years Mark has developed an interest in the potential of the mind, reading many books, blogs and websites, as well as attending training courses and watching and learning all he can on the subject. His journey into this subject started in the early 2000s, at a point when he was very low and considering suicide. He read and studied a book called 'You Can Heal Your Life' by Louise L Hay. At which point he started to learn to take control of his life, instead of reacting to it. His story empowered him to believe that pain and illness can feel a lot like it controls our lives, when in fact we have a lot more control over our emotions, events and outcomes than we first think. For example, we can choose to forgive, to change a perspective, a new daily routine, or a change to our diet, to name a few. We really do have more power than we think, and you are on that journey already because you are reading this right now. Mark's writing shares a variety of information and techniques which can empower you to take more control over your life and current situation. His particular journey directed him to qualify as a Hypnotherapist, choosing to specialise in Pain Management, Recovery and Performance, before completing several courses including Mindfulness, Basic Buddhism, and a very interesting course in a pain management technique called Noesitherapy. All this, along with a passion for learning and meeting with all the Mind Body experts, like Tim Cridland, he is continually extending his knowledge of how to help and support others.
