by Artur Braun (Author)
This book is your graduate level entrance into battery, fuel cell and solar cell research at synchrotron x-ray sources and free electron lasers. Materials scientists find numerous examples for the combination of electrochemical experiments with simple and with highly complex x-ray scattering and spectroscopy methods. Physicists and chemists can link applied electrochemistry with fundamental concepts of condensed matter physics, physical chemistry and surface science.
Author Biography
Artur Braun is a Berkeley trained Physicist from RWTH Aachen with a PhD in Electrochemistry from ETH Zürich. Braun is author/co-author of over 150 publications. His field of expertise is the structure and charge transport in materials for energy storage and conversion, and their assessment with neutron scattering and x-ray spectroscopy. Braun has authored two books with De Gruyter on these topics, both of which include chapters on animate matter.
