This Book 'Who is this Jesus' is a revelation that God gave to me after I got born again in a dramatic way, in an uncompleted building that we used for smoking of Indian hemp, I began to seek God with so much zeal. I have gone to the mountains, camps to pray to God to reveal to me who Jesus is. One day in the prayer camp, the issue of who Jesus is came up among us the campers and different people gave different answers. So said He is God but just lower than the Almighty God, so said He is just the son of God, you know sons are lower in authority than their fathers. I thought it was God that brought that discussion to give me answer about the personality of Jesus that brought me to the prayer camp. While at the prayer camp, I expected that God will appear to me as He appeared to Moses in the wilderness in a burning bush and give me answer to my question. I left the prayer camp frustrated without finding answer to my inner cravings. I enrolled in a Bible School because I believed that I will get answer to my question there. One day, one of our lecturers took us on Bible Doctrine, and he taught us on 'Trinity'. He told us that there are three Gods in heaven, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, and that God the Father is higher in authority than the rest. This got me further confused because I read in the Bible that God cannot share His glory with anybody. 'I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.' Isaiah 42:8 Also, God is a jealous God. 'Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;' Exo 20:5 I even got more confused in the Bible school. Everyday my heart yearns to know who Jesus really is. I even encountered the Jehovah's Witness who even compounded my frustrations by telling me that God is the Almighty Jehovah, Jesus is the son of God, lower in power and authority; the Holy Spirit an active force. Meanwhile I have made my research about the Holy Spirit and don't need anybody to confuse me about His personality. When Jesus was about to go back to heaven, He made it known to His disciples that the Holy Spirit will lead them and show them things to come. 'Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.' John 16:13 ________________________________________ Even personal names were ascribed to the Holy Sprit, to prove that He is a person. ________________________________________ 'But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: ' John 15:26 I asked many of my pastor friends their own version of 'Who is Jesus' and many of them either towed the path of my Bible School lecturer or they remain indifferent. (Standing on the fence) My quest continued until one early morning while I was alone at home preparing to go when I felt a presence which I know it was the presence of God. He asked me to lock the door and stay behind and write. Throughout that encounter God told me all that I write in this book. Come with me and see who Jesus is.
