"What Not To Do If You Marry An Abuser" was written by a Christian woman who spent more than two decades living a secret life of fear and shame as a battered wife. Despite the fact that she poured her heart and soul into changing her husband's abusive behavior and saving her marriage, the abuse did not stop, and her marriage was not saved. It is her prayer that her story will pierce your heart with the truth, and that you will not do what she did. It is her prayer that you will learn from her mistakes. It is her prayer that this book will change your life.
Author Biography
Jennifer Faith spent more than two decades living a secret life of fear and shame as a battered wife. When her prayers for the abuse to stop went unanswered, God became very small to her and she was convinced that she had been forsaken by him. When her husband threatened to kill her she made out a will, increased her life insurance for the sake of her children, and prepared to die a violent death at the hands at the man who had vowed to love and cherish her. Through the prompting of the Holy Spirit, she summonsed the courage to tell her secret and seek help. Through her brutal and hard fought two year journey out of domestic violence, she met a God who loves her furiously. He wooed her to himself and gave her the courage to stop living a lie. God rescued her, and she is walking in the safety, healing, and wholeness that God intends for every woman. She has reached women around the world with her message of triumph and hope through her blog: www.jenniferfaith.org, and has dedicated her life to speaking a truth that she learned during her journey out of the darkness: It is never God's will for a woman to be abused.
