A lot of controversies surround the subject of speaking in tongues because of the unfortunate lack of contextual understanding and interpretation of Scripture. As Smith Wigglesworth has rightly pointed out, many have learnt to read the Bible in Greek, others in Hebrew; but very few have learnt to read it in the Holy Ghost The result of this is the unfortunate propagation of several myths which, over the years, have gained a subtle and misleading reputation to be true. In Tongues Demystified, five of such beliefs surrounding the subject of speaking in tongues are discussed: 1. That I Speak In Tongues Is Proof That I Am A Christian 2. Tongues Have Ceased 3. The Holy Spirit Speaks In Tongues Through Me 4. Tongues Are Foreign Earthly Languages-Not Meaningless Gibberish 5. Speaking In Tongues Is A Waste Of Time Discover sound scriptural evidence that debunks these myths. Learn timeless truths that will ground your faith as you hold on firmly to what the Bible teaches about speaking in tongues.
