She earned a Masters of Social Work degree from Rutgers University and a Bachelors degree in Social Science and History from Thomas Edison State College. Titanic: The Untold Story is her second book and first published novel. Kent has hosted her own radio talk show on WFLN in her hometown of Vineland, New Jersey and she also an accomplished public speaker. Her presentation, The Other Side of the Titanic, which focuses on important, lesser known passengers on the Titanic, is popular with civic organizations, historical societies, and educational institutions.
