"Throughout my life I have always loved Spiders and Snakes, much to my mum's horror. People seem to have an unnecessary fear of these beautiful creatures. I come from Australia, and we have a wide range of snakes on our continent, in fact the most venomous snake in the world is found here, the Inland Taipan. I have a sincere passion and respect for these Reptiles. I hope you enjoy what I have learnt from my experience of snakes to write about, not just from the USA perspective that most pet snake care authors have. My trade certificate is in Horticulture Cert III in 2002, Diploma in Horticulture in 2003 and Diploma in Conservation and Land Management in 2007. I now teach Conservation and Land Management and find it extremely rewarding. I have been a Professional Snake Catcher since 2007. Most of my snake catching has so far been of Australian Copperheads and Eastern Brown Snakes that I have removed from residences or suburbia and returned them back into the bush scrubland that is their natural habitat. As a conservationist I love the fact that I can do my part in protecting these beautiful Reptiles, for without them in their natural habitat we would be overrun by mice. Snakes play an important part in bush diversity. My wish is that all snake owners become skilled at caring for their pet snakes, so that they have a chance to live a healthy and secure life in captivity, without unnecessary stress or risks to the snakes, or their owners. To achieve this I have published my snake care book that teaches snake owners all the essential information about pet snake care in my book "The Ultimate Snake Owners Guide" which includes sections on Health and Breeding resources and interesting snake facts."
