In 2015 she was writer in residency at the National Theatre Studio. Her film\/TV credits include \u003ci\u003eHollyoaks, \u003c\/i\u003efeature screenplays, children's drama\u003ci\u003e \u003c\/i\u003eand several scripts for \u003ci\u003eDoctors\u003c\/i\u003e. Suhayla developed an original screenplay, \u003ci\u003eLeft Luggage\u003c\/i\u003e as part of the Guiding Lights scheme where her mentor was Christopher Hampton.
