Author Biography
Suzanne Slade earned her degree in mechanical engineering from Valparaiso University and worked on rockets at McDonnell Douglas Space Systems. She is a Sibert Honor book author and has written over 200 science and space books for children, including Countdown: 2978 Days to the Moon, Astronaut Annie, and Daring Dozen: The Twelve Who Walk on the Moon.
