Thaler, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical neuropsychologist who conducts neuropsychological evaluations across the lifespan. He obtained his Ph.D. at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he specialized in child neuropsychology, completed his internship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, and finished a two-year post-doctoral fellowship at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience \u0026amp; Human Behavior where he obtained experience with adults. He has published over 50 papers examining the cognitive and psychiatric sequelae of a number of clinical conditions across the lifespan including learning disabilities, ADHD, pediatric traumatic brain injury, HIV, and bipolar disorder. He has worked at children's hospitals, academic medical centers, child community centers, private practices, and a Veteran's Affairs hospital. He specializes in assessing learning disabilities, ADHD, and cognitive dysfunction secondary to medical injuries. Dr. Thaler has been recognized with a number of accolades, including the Tony Wong Diversity Award, the Nevada Regent's Scholar Award, the UNLV President's Scholarship, and a UCLA Center for AIDS Research seed grant. He maintains a private practice in Los Angeles, California where he lives with his wife, son, and dog.
