P. Carbonneau presently resides in Florida with his wife, Florence, with whom he has raised two sons. Mr. Carbonneau designed the first of a series of braille printers in 1970, which allowed a visual impaired person access to computer technology. He is a recipient of the state of Florida Rehabilitation Association's Achievement Award. He has developed computer-based applications for the National Cryptology School applying expertise in computer sciences and instructional design. He has provided consulting expertise in monitoring systems for the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Washington, D.C. Mr. Carbonneau has served as a proposal reviewer consultant for the National Science Foundation, Small Business Innovative Research Program. He holds to United States patents in computer related peripheral communications terminals.
