This book analyzes the various ways of coming to terms with the Emmett Till case in US fiction. The critical analysis of three novels is imbued with a theoretical framework mainly based on trauma theory but also influenced by spectrality studies and black studies.
Author Biography
Martín Fernández Fernández is a Margarita Salas Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of A Coruña (UDC), Galicia, Spain. In July 2021, he earned his PhD in Literary and Cultural Studies of the United States from the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC).
