Since 1988 he has lived in Paris. He was Ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia to France, Spain, Portugal and UNESCO. His plays \u003ci\u003eR, The Fall of Albert Camus and Happiness is a New Idea in Europe\u003c\/i\u003e received international recognition throughout Europe and the United States. His play \u003ci\u003eThe Eternal House\u003c\/i\u003e will be featured in 2021 at the Macedonian National Theater in Skopje under the leadership of American experimental theater director Robert Wilson.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eWill Firth \u003c\/b\u003ewas born in 1965 in Newcastle, Australia. He studied German and Slavic languages in Canberra, Zagreb, and Moscow. Since 1991 he has been living in Berlin, Germany, where he works as a freelance translator of literature and the humanities. Firth translates from Russian, Macedonian, and all variants of Serbo-Croatian.
