He received the Research Award, Council for Exceptional Children in 1994, the Outstanding Leadership Award, Council for Children with Behavioral Disorders in 2002, and the Distinguished Alumni Award from School of Education at the University of Kansas in 2011. 　\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eDaniel P. Hallahan\u003c\/strong\u003e (Ph.D., University of Michigan) is Professor Emeritus of Education at the Curry School of Education at the University of Virginia. He was the Charles S. She completed her Master's degree in special education at Kent State University and received her Ph.D. from the University of Virginia.
