Author Biography

Vaughn Phelps studied Architecture and working for an established San Francisco architect he realized that the phisical restraints of an office would not lead to a happy career. His engineering background led him to managing a shop that designed and produced law enforcement equipment. Hearing details of real crimes led him to the idea of writing fiction. Screenplay writing was fun but again demanded a close connection to the closed circle of the Hollywood industry. Short story writing cound be done on more independently.
