Read It Right Volume 2: New Testament - Paperback

by George Bloomer (Author)

T he New Testament is more than a collection of familiar stories, powerful teachings and sacred letters. It is the unfolding testimony of Jesus Christ, the birth of the Church and the message that transformed the world.

In Read It Right Volume Two: New Testament, BISHOP GEORGE BLOOMER guides readers through all twenty-seven books of the New Testament, from Matthew to Revelation. With clarity and insight, he explores each book's author, historical setting, original audience, central purpose and major themes, revealing how every Gospel, letter and prophecy contributes to the larger story of redemption, a fulfillment of the promise foretold in the Old Testament.

Along the way, readers will encounter the world in which Jesus lived, the challenges faced by the earliest believers and the questions that shaped the growing Church. By placing each book within its historical and spiritual context, Bishop Bloomer helps readers move beyond isolated verses to recognize the connections, conflicts and convictions that give the New Testament its enduring power.

Whether you are reading the New Testament for the first time or returning with years of study behind you, this volume will help you understand what you are reading, why it was written and how its message speaks to your life today. Read It Right Volume Two is an accessible and engaging companion for personal devotion, group study and anyone seeking a deeper understanding of Scripture.
