Author Biography

Bernard "Bernie" Rath is the only person to have served as Executive Director of the two North American Booksellers associations from 1979 to 1997. He was an early Internet retail pioneer and his reluctant decision to sell bookcases rather than books has turned out to be a success with on-line cumulative sales now well into 7 figures. He is an avid sailor and recently made his virgin Gulf Stream crossing at the age of 65. His amusing outdoor adventures from Florida's southwest coast to the Keys, the Bahamas and beyond can be found by doing a Google search for Florida Gunkholer. He is currently working on a second non-fiction book, tentatively titled A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE BEACH.
