Prior to joining Inha University, he taught in the School of Architecture at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in the United States as an associate professor with tenure. He earned his PhD in Architecture at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Currently, he serves as a contributing editor of\u003ci\u003e Open House International\u003c\/i\u003e.
