Author Biography
Eleanor Yanez Coldwell always dreamed of writing children's books but experienced an unforeseen setback. Her vision began to fade. Macular degeneration took control of her eyesight, but Yanez Coldwell refused to allow it to control her life and destroy her plans. She instead detoured, attended a school for the blind, and learned how to function independently. She then began to write--and PAN DULCE sweetened her journey. Today, Yanez Coldwell continues to write and follow her dreams. PAN DULCE's idea stemmed from her rich Mexican-American background. She plans to fulfill her dream of writing other children's books.
