"Out of Africa - Simplified" volume 1 is a coloring book aimed at children age 5 and up, as well as our senior adults that might not have the vision that they used to or that have shakier hands due to age. "Out of Africa - Simplified" is still the educational coloring book that you would expect it to be, but with much simpler facts for the younger mind to be able to comprehend, and larger pictures with larger details to make coloring easier for both children and adults. Both colored pencils and crayons can be used because of the size of the pictures. "Out of Africa - Simplified" is a companion book to go along with the original "Out of Africa," volume 1 but it is still a stand-alone book as well. All the animals in the original "Out of Africa" educational coloring book are again in "Out of Africa - Simplified." Each animal contained within the 56 pages of this book are unique in their own ways, and you and your child will learn about them as you as you color the pictures. You will learn about the habits of that particular animal you are coloring, you will learn what they eat, how big they are and many more fascinating facts This is a way to make learning fun again for the younger kids. It will also give the perfect opportunity for some quality together time for the parents and children as they color together. I hope you will enjoy, "Out of Africa - Simplified" volume 1.
Author Biography
BJ LaPier, the author and illustrator of, "Out of Africa - Simplified - Volume One," has a deep-seated love for nature. Growing up in a very rural setting gave her the great opportunity to be exposed to animals of all kinds' right from an early age. It was not unusual to see deer roaming around the yard nightly or even a bear moving though its territory where she lived. The eerie sounds of the coyotes yodeling at night would even lull the author to sleep. This deep seated love for nature is very evident within the pages of her educational coloring books, and she definitely intends to be designing more in the future. There are more areas to cover other than Africa, and the one area she intends on working on first after she finishes with her "Out of Africa" series is her own home country, the United States. These animals are calling out to me, and they want their fair shake. There are also more horror novels to be released after her first one, "The Culebra", gets re-released. The author grew up reading great horror novelists such as Stephen King and John Saul, and these awe-inspiring authors had a huge effect on her writing style. As the horror novels are released, the pen name used by the author will be BJ Moore. A separation needed to be made between the horror novelist and the religious writer, and that is why the name changed. There are people out there that do not believe that one person can write both....but what is life without good and evil. As a nature photographer, the author wanted an outlet to get her photographs shown and that is where "Psalms of Nature" came about. Growing up in the church left the author with a love for the Lord, and this series of books was something that she felt that she was just called to do. The author can envision more books on this line being released at a later date and this time dealing with different subjects than what the original "Psalms of Nature" volumes do, but only time will tell when that will come to be.
