by Allen J. Earlstone (Author)
With a sweep of Occam's razor, OMNISCIENCE cuts away obtuse philosophically-based systems and the highly complex library systems of the twentieth century. Instead, it reaches into the history of knowledge ab ovo, and from that beginning builds a structure unmoved by prejudice. This is not a dictionary or thesaurus or encyclopedia or an esoteric philosophical structure. Rather, it is a newly-minted twenty-first century linchpin that holds all the branches of knowledge together and provides a fresh set of keys to enter the door to universal enlightenment and understanding. In simple terms, this is a masterful pantology enabling the mapping of any science or study that you choose to pursue, complete with all its associated fields, each defined in an included glossary.
Author Biography
Born in Scotland, Allen J. Earlstone (real name Ernest Hume) developed an early fascination for words and knowledge in general. In his elementary school days he collected the names of every animal he could find, mainly from the adult libraries, gaining access through his mother's library card. In his early teens, unaware of Roget's thesaurus, he started classifying the words in his school dictionary. He also wrote poems, songs and long essays. He emigrated to Canada at 18. He married at 26 and earned a professional accounting qualification holding many management and executive positions. On retiring, he revisited and edited many of his books and publishing several in Amazon. In addition to his nonfiction, he has authored several historical novels using the pseudonym of Thomas Greenlaw.
