All proceeds from the book release were donated to Concerns of Police Survivors. The book is about a local Lancaster, Pennsylvania police dog named Ruger. The book describes Ruger's training and skills, includes a few short stories, and ends with real photographs.
Author Biography
Adam Westgate, born in 1984, was raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in Landscape Architecture. He has also lived in MD, VA and FL working in the Landscape Architecture industry and as a Correctional Officer. He enjoys the outdoors, spending time with his dog, sports and exercise, art/illustration, landscape design, and writing.
