by Bubba (Author)
This description of the pre civil war activity reveals the financial incentives for the north taking over the south. The war was destined to happen. The war was about color; the color of money.
Author Biography
(Bubba) is a pet name of author Jim Bundy. Jim wrote this book at age 76 after years of studying and learning about the civil war. Jim grew up in Covington County, Alabama. He was the son of sharecroppers. He and two friends formed a comedy singing trio in high school. He graduated from Southern Colorado State College with a BA in Public Speaking and was a few hours short of a Master's Degree. Jim served 20 years in the United States Air Force, participating in computerized air defense in the Combat Operations Center at Norad. He owned an advertising agency in Colorado Springs and wrote articles for several newspapers. He spent over 35 years in radio including a stint as a disc jockey at KSSS for a big band show in the sixties, announcing local high school sports, Colorado College hockey and Air Force Academy games. He was a radio talk show host at KVOR interviewing dignitaries, generals, politicians, professors and military heroes. Jim Bundy also wrote "Brother Robert", a delightful story about a young man coming into manhood. It reflected much of Jim's life growing up in Alabama. Many of the character's adventures are true stories.
