These traditional Norse tales were collected, recorded and translated by various authors. This edition includes the work of Sir George Webbe Dasent, who was introduced to Scandinavian literature and mythology by one and only Jacob Grimm, and Charles John Tibbits who wrote many books of folk tales and legends and Katharine Pyle, a prolific author and illustrator.
