She has been the wife of a Pastor/Chaplain for forty years - thirteen years were spent as a Pastor's wife, and twenty-seven years as a Chaplain's spouse. She has three married children, and seven grandchildren. Mrs. Cocklin is a retired school teacher, with thirty years of experience, and has taught kindergarten through twelfth grade. She is currently working on her Masters of Arts Degree in Theological Studies at Winebrenner Theological Seminary in Findlay, Ohio. Kay and her husband, Joel, reside in Findlay, Ohio.
