by Manuella Ornela Reaves (Illustrator), Janet Yvette Williams (Author)
Musoke enjoys playing outside as any other child in the village. However, he forgets the village's rule. You must wear proper clothing to avoid the bite from a weird insect. This weird insect is known for causing paralysis or death.
Musoke is paralyzed from the bite and his condition has worsened. His two brothers Mpagi and Manu both are concerned as well as his Obadele (father) and Gabrisela (mother). There is a lack of money for Musoke's treatment. Mpagi decides to take matters into his own hands by leaving the village without permission to find the doctor for Musoke.
A picture book for children, Musoke, The Healed Boy shares an immeasurable love of a brother for his ill brother. The vivid illustrations show that love can bring miracles.
