For most people, the notion of a museum suggests galleries full of objects on display for the contemplation of passers-by. That contemplation is a museum's main business: it is a place for musing, for reflection and rumination, a place where we allow the artefacts of time to play upon our consciousness retrospectively. The poems gathered here, under the title of Museum, constitute a comparable display. Personal artefacts of experience that have grown fixed in memory and eventually demanded verbal shape, which I've done my best to provide.
