Author Biography

Dan Schieberl, a Sonoma County native, has been in many trades over the past 40 years, from inventor to builder to entrepreneur. He is an incredibly creative and skilled craftsman who can build just about anything from a jewelry box to a castle. Dan is now looking to fulfill his life-long dream as a filmmaker and is currently working on a few scripts. Dan was inspired to create the world of Troll Mountain after an exchange student from Norway gave him troll figurines and a calendar full of troll images and drawings. Troll Mountain began as an idea for an animated film, and is now being published as children's books.
