Author Biography
David Howard Sherman was born in Brooklyn and raised on Long Island. As Sherm Davis, he is a writer, musician, and international educator. Naturally a mathematician, Scrabble wiz, and stutterer, he decided to explore music and writing as a teenager as alternate means of communication and expression. This led to work with adults with autism and other disabilities before bringing his gifts to children as a music teacher. His work in education, which includes an MA in Special Education where he designed an elementary curriculum which fuses music and mathematics, has since morphed into an international career spanning five countries and four continents. He is the author of "Learning to Stutter" (a novel), and "The Hair Collector and Other Stories", a bilingual collection in English and Spanish. His music can be found for free at http: //soundcloud.com/eyebox.
