by Linda Burch M. S. (Author)
LIVING BORDERLINE: A Mother's Memoir is a true story that reads like a riveting page-turner. It provides a close-up view of what it is like to have a daughter with the nightmarish mental illness called borderline personality disorder. LIVING BORDERLINE is the sequel to GROWING UP BORDERLINE, which was an intimate and heartfelt chronicle of the daughter's explosive struggles from birth until the age of eighteen, when she was finally diagnosed. LIVING BORDERLINE continues the story into adulthood as the daughter battles self-destructive episodes, substance abuse, stormy relationships, and jail. Also included in the book are almost fifty pages of resources, including books, videos, phone apps, and websites to help consumers, family members, friends, and clinicians.
