Amaran is torn between his duty to his own kingdom and his love for Elle, but the danger that finds him then is nothing but a stepping stone to his true destiny-a destiny that brings an ancient legend to the forefront of a battle between good and evil.

Author Biography

Inspired by stories like Tolkien's The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, Jonathan Dorr always wanted to create interesting stories based on his own fantasy world. The result was Legend of the Dragon Slayer, the first book in a series of five, which follows Amaran as he grows up in an enemy's palace, falls in love with the wrong girl, and discovers fate has bigger plans for him. Jonathan Dorr has a degree in secondary biology education and currently teaches high school science. He has a collection of exotic pets and makes frequent trips to zoos, and enjoys watching wildlife wherever he can, from the swamps of South Carolina to the Adirondack Mountains of New York. His love for nature has inspired many of the habitats and creatures in his Dragon Slayer series. Jonathan Dorr lives in North Carolina with his wife and son, and their two dogs.
