She has served as the president of the Rhetoric Society of America and editor of \u003ci\u003eRhetoric Society Quarterly\u003c\/i\u003e. She is a fellow of the Rhetoric Society of America and of the Association of Teachers of Technical Writing. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eAmy J. Devitt\u003c\/strong\u003e is a writer, teacher, and scholar, and Professor of English and Chancellors Club Teaching Professor at the University of Kansas.
