by Robert Henry Keith (Author)
Portland Book Review calls Just Missed the Sixties a "hilarious romp back in time." When you think of the sixties do you think of the music, fads and hippies? You can relive (or perhaps discover anew) the feelings of those times through the eyes, and mind of Joseph Roman, college sophomore in Wisconsin. It's 1973 and Joseph yearns for the excitement of the sixties, the counterculture, street demonstrations, music festivals and the free love, flower-power life style. Joseph discovers his new dorm mates have a similar mind set (or do they?) and the fun begins. Will Joseph find peace and love or just another bad trip? Kirkus Reviews says Joe's adventures are "often humorous." Just Missed the Sixties is an adult comedy, romance and coming of age adventure. Enjoy the high jinks of a man born a little too late.
