Christine Hallett is Professor of Social Policy in the Department of Applied Social Sciences at the University of Stirling. Alan Pront is Professor of Sociology in the Department of Applied Social Sciences at the University of Stirling. He is also Director of the ESRC 'Children 5-16' Research Programme.
