Author Biography

Horse crazy from a young age, Leslie started riding horses at the age of 6, and has been hooked ever since. She doesn't know a life without horses and has competed in multiple disciplines: dressage, jumping, saddleseat, hunter, western, and even sidesaddle! In her teen years, with the support of her family, Leslie won 4 National Championships on her Arabian Horses. At age 15, Leslie got asked to teach a lesson to a daughter of her mom's friend, and found a new calling for many years. Since that time, Leslie has enjoyed over a decade of teaching kids on horses. Leslie says, "Watching the magical things that can happen between horse and human is rewarding. I am grateful I have been able to help those partnerships grow by being a confidence building coach for both horse and rider." Leslie's students have been to many shows, successfully and are all continuing to grow in their horsemanship!
