Born in Chicago, Susanne Dyckman has lived in cities on both coasts of the U.S., finally settling in Albany, California, where she curates the Evelyn Avenue reading series. She is the author of two chapbooks, Transiting Indigo (Etherdome Press) and Counterweight (Woodland Editions). Her writing has appeared in various publications, including Pomona Valley Review, Switchback, 26, Marginalia and First Intensity. After being named a recipient of the Five Fingers Review poetry award, she was invited to join the journal's editorial staff.
