Author Biography
J. A. Goodman was born and raised in Rochester, New York. She grew up on the shores of Lake Ontario and graduated from Charlotte High School. She married, then 13 years later divorced. Raised four independent and unique children. Worked at Eastman Kodak Company as a Quality Control Technician where she refined her writing skills writing technical reports, publications and training manuals. She continued taking creative writing courses at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and Monroe Community College (MCC) until age 47, when she left her job to attend MCC full time. In 1991 she received an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Marketing with distinction. In 2015 she joined the Osher, Lifelong Learning community and began a new journey as an author. Writing a novel to entertain others was a lifelong ambition. Always on the to do list, always at the bottom. The success of her first novel, Tangled Justice encouraged her to continue writing. Domestic Justice, is the second in the Emma Mason Mystery series. Legal Justice is the third in the trilogy.
